Accumen was established in 2008 to provide business advisory and consulting services to the SME sector.

We typically work with business owners and directors to deliver plans, strategies or interventions aimed at addressing mutually agreed areas of need. Our approach is based on first developing a deep understanding of client businesses, including the competitive environment, history, objectives, challenges and opportunities.

Where appropriate, and through our association with the Institute for Independent Business, we are able to draw on the services of a broad network of highly qualified and experienced business associates with diverse backgrounds in corporate, government and SME sectors. A common characteristic is our commitment to driving improvement in business performance – this allows us to view business challenges from different perspectives ensuring a balanced approach to strategy formulation, problem solving and interventions.
